    Hudson Bay
    Named after explorer Henry Hudson, Hudson Bay is a large body of water that drains a large portion of Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut. The bay is considered a part of the Arctic Ocean and covers a surface area of over 1.2 million sq km (463,320 sq mi). It was also the site of the formation of the Hudson's Bay Company and played an integral role in the birth of Canada as a nation.
