Dryden Parks & Gardens
Blue Lake Provincial Park is located just northwest of Dryden. Visitors enjoy the sandy beaches, hiking trails, canoeing, fishing and bird watching. A campground is also located at the park.
The North Dryden/Rotary Park features The Soccer Complex known as Raposo Fields. It also features a skatepark used by skaters and bikers of all ages. There is also a baseball field located off of First Street.
Set between Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Ojibway is filled with trails inside pine forests and along the wild rice shores of Little Vermilion Lake. Anglers, swimmers and beach lovers will find the park a satisfying distraction.
Situated a short ways west of Dryden, Aaron Provincial Park is brimming with family fun potential. Swim, boat or fish for trout in Thunder Lake, hike or ski the trails surrounded by white cedar, jack pine and aspen trees. The moose, white-tailed deer and black bears inhabit the forest. Reserve is accessible via Wabigoon Lake and measures 3400 ha (8402 acres). Notable characteristics of Butler Lake is the layers of sediments, called varves, that mark a section of the land. There are no visitors facilities in the park.
